Yard Work Day

Today was just too pretty of a day to work indoors when we got home from the church work day! Well, I did make some cookies and three meals but we spent most of the time outside.

As the official barber at the Leingang residence, I gave all the shrubs out front a good trimming. And Will mowed the front lawn…

Chris cleaned some of the yard tools that were really nasty and helped clean up my mess from trimming bushes…

Then Chris and Andy beat back the blackberries on the other side of the fence so that Zack, our professional tree planter, could plant some trees. We are trying to grow a natural barricade between us and the neighbors. Unfortunately, we will not be here to enjoy the privacy…

Just before going in, I decided to do a bit of work in the garden. I know it’s a bit premature, and some of you are probably laughing at me, but I couldn’t help it! Thanks for the help, Andy!

Never too early for gardening...I've been out in mine for a couple of months already, onion, peas, potatoes, garlic...all in!

Of course this does not touch the seedlings that have taken over my kitchen and sunroom...Kim
