The best time of the year is right now. The flowers are blooming, the grass is drying out (and not growing so fast) and I don't even have to water. Actually, we never water. That's the other great part.
You really can have pretty plants that don't require tons of water or work.

Cool!! I want a very low maintenance yard. That is my dream.
Hopefully we will be able to do that in 1 or 2 years time. Allen would still have a little to mow, but other than that NO WEEDING!!
