Hand Sanitizer

Today one of the moms in our homeschool co-op gave me a new recipe for liquid spray-on hand sanitizer. I think I am going to try it.

Fill a small spray bottle half full with water.

Fill the remainder with 1/4 of the half with witch hazel and the last 1/4 with vodka.

Add a few drops of peppermint essential oil.

Shake and spray on your hands to help kill germs.

Joey Green's Gardening Magic (interesting and unconvential ideas and funny, too)
Living Like Ed by Ed Begley, Jr (I just liked the book and enjoyed the writing style he uses)
Squeaky Green by Eric Ryan and Adam Lowry (lots of info on all the toxic stuff in your home)
Saving God's Green Earth by Tri Robinson (good book about environmental stewardship)
Natural Cleaning For Your Home by Casey Kellar (recipes for homemade household cleaners that I really like)
