Today we tilled our garden. Like the Hobbits in Tolkien’s Shire, I love “peace and quiet and good tilled earth: a well-ordered and well-farmed countryside” is also one of my favorite haunts.
Zack and Andy helped quite a bit, which was good because breaking up huge clods of dirt with quite a little rototiller is a strenuous workout! Thanks guys!
But now that it’s done, it’s hard for me to wait to get stuff in the ground… It won’t be long.
Our little backyard farm is coming along nicely…

Great job...I tilled and covered mine so it will be warm and dry by the time I go to plant!
