National Popcorn Day

In honor of National Popcorn Day, I decided to post about the popcorn popper we bought this fall. We bought it for our church's Harvest Party because it wasn't that much more expensive than the rental. Then we liked it so much we decided to keep it and let the church borrow it... ;)

While the popcorn was good, it just wasn't that buttery, tasty, movie theater-y goodness I was hoping for. But then Amazon popped up an ad on my FB for Great Northern Popcorn Portion Packs.

According to 70% of the 2,354 reviewers it was just the thing I was looking for.

I store them in a cute little enamelware bin on top with everything we need.

We popped some up on Sunday night...

They were right! Movie Night will never be the same!
