Like lotion bars, lip balm is super easy to make and needs very few ingredients.
Here’s what you need to make a small batch of lip balm. It filled 5 lip gloss tubes that you can order here.
3 teaspoons beeswax
7 teaspoons olive oil
1 vitamin E capsule
Melt oil and beeswax in a double boiler until beeswax is completely melted. Let cool a bit and then squeeze the contents of one vitamin E capsule into the mixture and stir well.
At this point you can add one or more of the following:
1 candy melt (any flavor of color will work)
6-7 drops essential oil
Stir well.
Pour into containers and let set up.
Remember not to pour any leftover liquid balm into your sink! Clean up is a bit messy… :o)
